Here I have attached the Ionic liquid modified Magnetic Nanoparticles, one part of final product washed one time and another part washed several times with organic solvents.
But FTIR spectra at wavenumber 1650~1000 cm-1 shows weak band after several time wash with organic solvents.
Can I consider these weak bands of Ionic liquid for further steps ?
or do I still need to modify ?
Interaction might be weak with forces such as electrostatic, Van der waal attraction.

The strong bands are found at about 600/cm, 1400, 1700 and about 3400/cm.

The broad peak at 3600-2400 cm-1 is basically assigned to the stretching modes of O–H bonds originating from the intercalated water between layers and the amount of OH- groups from tertiary alcohol the bands of carbonyl moieties and carboxyl groups present on FTIR spectra at 1650, 1550, 1404, 1100, , 1120, and 580 (cm-1) associated to C=O (C=O), C=C (C=C), C-OH (C-O-H), C-O-C (C-O-C), and C=OH (O=H).
It can be seen that after washing the amount of intercalated water or OH- groups has been decreased, as well as the carbon species.

I doubt a peak at 1650 is a C=O stretch. It is more likely an adsorbed water

You say you have an "ionic liquid" modified np. What does that mean? The region between on the low energy end of the IR is often called "fingerpritnt" region. I'd guess you have mananged to wash most of your "ionic liquid" off the particles. I would suggest you take the FTIR of the ionic liquid. I would subtract the Fe3O4 spectra from the middle spectra and compare the difference spectra to that of the ionic liquid.
Is your "ionic fluid" an tertiary amide? That would explain a 1650 carbonyl. Regradless, I think you are just washing the majority of your "ionic liquid" off the particles. Have you taken the IR spectra of your solvents before and after washing your nanoparticles?
Myron Todd Coolbaugh sir you are right , I used an Imidazolium ionic salt to modify the magnetic nanoparticles. I have washed the final product several times and Ionic liquid has been washed off. Final spectrum shown bands in the finger print region which are from an ionic salt imidazolium.
But i have not carried out the FTIR for washed solvents (next time I follow your suggestion).
After several wash there some small bands appeared in the final spectrum of NPs.
can I consider to this functionalization for further steps of process ?
Further characterization is indeed to confirm the functionalization but, for primary characterization is this FTIR acceptable or not?

yes, 550~650cm-1 band is attributed to Fe-O vibration but that is from magnetic nanoparticles.
Have you considered using an absorbance plot instead of a %T plot? It is both easier to see smaller intensity peaks AND the relationship between peak hieght and changes are more linear, i.e. IR peaks follow Beer-Lambert law. I am also curious about pH control during experiment. The Fe3O4@COOH spectrum indicates significant amounts of surface COOH and COO- (moderately low pH), while the "several time wash" seems to show no COOH- (basic conditions.) One more question- are these ATR spectra?
Myron Todd Coolbaugh sir, I did not tried for absorbance scale and linear relationship (next time I will try). And these are not ATR spectra.

Does this spectra is enough for primary confirmation of binding ionic liquid on magnetoc nanoparticles ?

I think so. Another trick you can try is spectral subtraction. Convert 1) Fe3O4@PAA 2) Fe3O4@PAA-IL and 3) IL to absorbance. Subtract spectra 1) from 2). The result should be very similar to 3).
which functional group you are going to identify or other wise what type of stretching in your final product. you go through the functional group range in the FTIR
