These are from the Cretaceous of South India.
Fusiform shell. multispiral, evenly tapering spire. Protoconch worn out, preserved spire consists of 5 to 6 whorls which are moderately convex. Body whorl covers half of the total shell height. Whorls covering a major portion of the preceding whorl. Apical angle acute. Suture impressed. Surface usually smooth with very fine growth lines in the body whorl. Numerous spiral elements also characterize the shell surface. Spirals are stronger than the axials. Aperture auriform. Small, axially inclined anterior siphonal canal present.
