Hi, I'm trying to solve a problem with heat transfer and fluid. When I co-execute heat transfer model and CFD model, the following error is encountered "An unrecoverable error has been encountered with the co-simulation engine".
Can anyone help me solve this error?

I am using software ABAQUS 6.10.
I developed a heat transfer model (ABAQUS standard), in which a profile with tubular cross-section is heated using interactions "surface radiation" and "surface film condition" and considering a varying amplitude temperature. The type of step considered was "heat transfer" with response transient (not steady-state).
Then, I developed a fluid model (ABAQUS CFD) to simulate the fluid inside the cavity of the tubular profile. In order to connect these two models (heat transfer and CFD models), I used the interaction "Fluid-Structure Co-simulation boundary" and created a step (type "flow"). In this step, temperature energy equation was considered and no turbulence was considered.
When I try to co-execute these two models, the following error is displayed: "An unrecoverable error has been encountered with the co-simulation engine".
Andreas, do you know how can I solve this problem? Should I use another software in order to solve this problem?

Dear Tiago, First check your technical input details and model that you are using in your simulation. Further you should check your geometry and its modelling. Which software you used for modelling? I never used ABAQUS CFD so i don't have much idea with this software but from my experience there might be some problem with your software, so try to write UDF or contact its customer care for technical help. One more thing have you used any other software for this purpose, if not then please try hope for best with ANSYS CFD and other similar commercial software.
Although i have not provided any technical help but try above suggestion hope for good.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am trying to use ABAQUS, firstlty, for a thermal analysis and, secondly, for a mechanical analysis. Nevertheless, if I did not achieve proper results using software ABAQUS, I would try to solve this problem using another software, namely, ANSYS CFD.
However, now I am still trying to solve this thermo-fluid problem using ABAQUS.
