Hi All,
I am genotyping 96 isolates (they were collected from different year) with 13 SSR markers. I was hoping to see some kind structure among different years. I did the AMOVA test using R package poppr. In the results of components of covariance, I got negative value of variations between samples within year. I was wondering why would this happen? I knew that slightly negative value can be interpret as absence of structure, I got -63% , is it normal?
Also, I did the significant test, the P value of variations between year is 0.0302, is it appropriate to say that the populations collected from different years differ from each other?
I've attached the test results. I am very confused by the results. Really hope someone could help me out. I will really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jing
