How to stain PAGE?

i am going to stain PAGE after loading denatured PCR products for SSCP. the problem i faced when i stain my gel by silver staining following different protocols the band become invisible at the last step. so any one suggest me for any addition and send the short and easy protocol

Got this paper:

It is precisely for SSCP.

We use Sanguinetti method (briefly mentioned of the paper) and works pretty well with PCR/RFLP. Haven't try it with SSCP but ought to be very similar.
