I've been looking for a DMS–>Decimal-Degree converter that can handle batches rather than one-at-a-time conversion. Does anyone have a useful link?

Peter T Breuer: So sorry i wasn't clear enough with the question. By "DMS" converter, i mean; "Degree Minute Second" to Decimal converter, and yes, it has something to do with Longitude and Latitude.
I know what i need and the formula quite alright, (Decimal Degrees = Degrees + minutes/60 + seconds/3600), but am working on over 2000 coordinates (long. and lat.) which is in the "DMS" format, using calculator, pen and paper or a one-at-a-time software will be so strenuous.
..and I'll appreciate if you can explain how i can do that with spreadsheet. Thanks

Maybe it wouldn't have caught your attention if it wasn't tagged to Computation Mathematics. And yes, Spatial Statistics (Geostatistics) does exist, although limited to Geography and Environmental studies. Also, my question has alot to do with it.

."Spatial stats is about the statistics of spatially distributed features and events." That's very correct. Also, you can't talk of spatial distribution of features/events without referencing such to coordinate/location (Longitude, Latitude and/or Elevation). As such, its a TOOL in Environmental Studies. I have no doubt a lot of other researchers must/would have had difficulty in converting hundreds or thousands of coordinates from "DMS" to Decimal Degree.
