Which is better, Stellarium or Celestia, in your opinion?

I use Celestia myself - its non-geocentric view makes it more useful to me.

What particular interests do you have in this area?

I'm interested in visualization of indicators such as:

ecliptic;

Equator galaxy:

the trajectory of the planets;

moon phases and moon location;

solstice;

quadrature conjunction between planets and moon;

geocentric conjunction between planets and moon;

apogee and perigee planets of the solar system;

variability of the center of mass of the solar system;

variability of gravitational interactions between the planets of the solar system;

the exact time of the main units above intersection planes (trajectories of planets and solar systems with the equator of the galaxy);

It can be said basic astronomical parameters of the solar system and our galaxy, the reliability of these indicators of good visualization and exact time.

Mmm.

I think that you might be better off building your own orrery. No commercial tool I know of is going to tell you the motion of the barycentre of the solar system - but you *can* work it out with a few hundred (?) lines of code and a good integrator.

I'd start with a good ephemeris (JPL's 2000, say) and look for a good integrator.

It would help to understand why you want to know this. E.g. The Solar System's barycentre is within 1 million kilometers of the surface of the Sun. If you are concerned with interstellar (galactic) distances, that is trivial, for interplanetary distances it might be relevant depending on the need. Do you mean Apogee or Aphelion of the planets? Etc..
