To calculate the structure from XRD, it is too easy, Please follow the next procedure which may be answered in many pasrts: Part-1
as depicted in the attached files. first (TiO2-hkl-d) and (TiO2-hkl) .
1- the XRD chart contains two axes; y represent the actual of intensity values or by
arbitrary units and X- represent 2 theta.
2- Get carefully the value of 2 theta which corresponds to a certain peak.
3- Go to ASTM card (this card contains the available phases of the compound and represent a relation between 2 theta and the hkl which identify the name of the phase)
4- Check the value (hkl) which corresponds to 2 theta. And so on for each peak.
5- you can use the Full Width Half Maximum of the peak to calculate the crystallite size by Sherrer Equation.
6- you can also calculate the strain as depicted in the attached paper titled (CdTe 2015) and simplified in the attached file named “crystallite size and strain”
