- I am doing the final year project regarding the determination of the refractive index and thickness of Barium Titanite using prism coupler. I'm not sure I get this result is correct or not. This is a sample of the 5 layer.

Most general method to check new result to compare it with independent another method of measurement of considered optical parameters - index refraction and thickness BaTi. For index refraction determination You can apply right refractometer or ellipsometer. Thickness of film you can measure with mechanic or interferometric devices or methods. Naturally You should take into account instrumental errors of additional devices with error of your device. Very often they apply to results registered other authors early. So, be successful in your activity.
