I am not a specialist in this type of software, but I can attempt to respond as a general Technology/Information systems researcher. I think with the adoption of any technology/software, there will be pros and cons. Some of the pros can include task efficiency, accuracy, creativity, competitiveness and accountability among others. These can also have a cost saving effect.
However, the cons or challenges may revolve around resistance to change as people feel that technology will take their jobs. The initial cost of technology can also deter one from implementing same. Having the right skills/knowledge to use the technology/software is an added consideration, so training of people and costs associated with it must be considered.
I recommend you also consider the following models in your thesis - Task Technology Fit, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and/or Diffusion of innovation theory.
