I am trying to choose an suitable model for an online machine learning technique. I was wondering if anybody could recommend any good papers.
Many thanks in advance.
Top 5: Things to know about machine learning
There are several different types of machine learning, and it pays to know a little about each. Here's a quick guide.
Five types of machine learning:
1. Supervised learning
2. Semi-supervised learning
3. Reinforcement learning
4. Active learning
5. Unsupervised learning
At the end of this article, you may find many good resources on ML.

There are many good papers but your best bet is probably a book try the Sutton and Barto for reinforcement learning.
Although a quick google search lead to this PhD dissertation: http://ttic.uchicago.edu/~shai/papers/ShalevThesis07.pdf
good luck
Maybe You can find this useful - online GMMs. There are also Matlab toolboxes for this purposes, but i have no links to them now
