Evidence based practice across the health professions, 2nd ed. by Hoffmann, Bennett, and Del Mar is excellent if you are interested in EBP in allied health as well as medicine.
Another good introductory text is:
Salisbury, J., Glasziou, Paul, & Del Mar, Chris. (2007). Evidence-based practice workbook bridging the gap between health care research and practice (2nd ed.). Malden, Mass.: Blackwell/BMJ Books.
I am a doctoral student and have really enjoyed the clinical applicability of Melnyk, B., & Fineout-Overholt, E. (2015). Evidenced based practice in nursing and healthcare: A guide to best practice (3rd ed.). Philedelphia, PA: Walters Kluwer. This is a book that I am not selling back because it will be relevant in my clinical research. It has been a blessing with the real-life applications and tools included in the book and resources. Best of luck to you.
I too would highly recommend: Melnyk, B.M., & Fineout-Overholt, E. (2015). Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare: A Guide to Best Practice. (3rd ed.) Philadelphia, PA: Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. as mentioned previously. However, another great "quick and easy" source is the
