I am doing the HLA-typing by NGS before starting the same I need to understand what the HLA-typing is and about the nomenclature aspects. I have not found any articles which give me complete details of the same. Could anyone suggest an article which explains the nomenclature completely it will be of great help.

b- what antigen type that particular allele is, which typically signifies the serological antigen present.

c-what protein the allele codes for and numbered sequentially in order they are discovered.

d-Indicates an allele variant that has a different DNA sequence but produces the same protein as a normal gene.

e- Designate a single or multiple nucleotide polymorphism in a non-coding region of the gene.
