I want to make Manganese Zinc Ferrite.

For that I took MnCl2.4H2O, ZnCl2, FeCl3.6H2O as precursor.

My final product should be Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4

I assume the equation as

aMnCl2.4H2O + bZnCl2 + cFeCl3.6H2O + dO2 (oxygen from environment) ----> Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 + H2O + Cl2

Is my equation correct?

In the preparation route,

I first dissolve Iron chloride hexa hydrate in DI water and after that add the solution of remaining two salts.

Can anybody suggest me if I am right or wrong?
