We have used this ionic liquid matrix for MALDI mass spectrometric analysis of highly sulfated saccharides, but this product is not anymore available at Sigma/Fluka and we failed to find another manufacturer. I will be very thankful if you can suggest one!

we should be able to make that, together with the 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid butylamine, which is apparently better for " neutral glycans or labile monosialylated biomolecules ", at least according to Analytical Chemistry, Vol. 76, No. 10, May 15, 2004.
