The wastewater released from leather industries may contain a variety of pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria.I am present time working on pathogenic microbes.
I think we need to know first a unique DNA or RNA signature that corresponds to each individual target pathogen. Then, we can design primers for amplification of that known DNA or RNA signatures. I do not know. I am not an expert in detection of microbial pathogens. Just I am wondering?
Is best to know you target pathogenic gene. Wastewater has very broad number of bacteria. For example is better to choose pathogenic gene of salmonella than salmonella spp gene, or enterotoxigen gene of E. coli than E.coli gene
I am present time use for research work , 27F and 1492R primers but these are universaI primers and I need specific primers for target to pathogenic bacteria.
Dear fernandes
I satisfied your answer and good suggestion target of pathogenic gene for bacteria.
