While working with light induced growth of microgreens, we have observed a FTIR peak at 2359. Literature suggests such peak for CO2. Is it possible for the present scenario? If yes, explanation plz.
It depends on your working procedure (what is your background measurment) but it is most probably from CO2. CO2 signal is highly saturated resulting sometime in peaks even if the gas phase at both background and sample stage is similar. This area will always be noisy because of it...
