There are a wide range of tools that can be used. Software such as NVIVO 11 plus can analyse documentary material with great ease. With the API function you can even download Twitter and Facebook posts. Alternatively, if you are interested in peer reviewed and indexed work then VosViewer would be a great choice for conducting bibliometric analysis. I have used both tools and for more information on their potential utility you can either go to YouTube for some videos on their functionality or look at some of the papers that I have published using both packages.
