I am planning to conduct a study on comparsion of clinical outcomes of DOTS with 99DOTS in HIV-TB patients. DOTS is standard treatment regimen which is recommended by RNTCP for all types of tuberculosis patients. Recently (2017) 99 DOTS was introduced to treat HIV-TB patients. Now I want to make comparsion of clinical outcomes associated in 99DOTS with DOTS therapy by using last year and current year data from database. Can any one help me in selecting type of design and statistical methods used to compare outcomes and how to compile data of past DOTS outcomes with present 99DOTS outcomes.
99 dots where the person is given medicine and is asked to call a phone number. under the tablet. this is a very good move and initiative.
