So, it depends in the protein you are targeting. Have in mind that the brochures tell you in which assays you can use the antibody.
Also, answering your question, yes, monoclonal antibodies can be used in ICC assays; however, depending the sample, the dilution must be adjusted and standardized.

thank you for your answer. I would like to try PHYH antibody in pig used for ICC. I had been searching references, however, as it was not studied widely, i couldnt find it so far.

thank you for your specific answer. I agree with your comment that it is neccassary to check whether the Ab works in ICC by KO cells or overexpressed cells, when it has never been tested. However, I think it would be better to find references as I have some limitations for gene modification.
