I used other cobalt precursor like cobalt nitrate and cobalt sulfate but it didn't dissolve in this solution. I want to dope cobalt by using hydrothermal method.
This is an example of a question when it would be the best just to try. In addition, it's not necessary to start from a solution for a hydrothermal synthesis.
Dear Muhammad Faizan as pointed out by Yurii V Geletii it would be easy to try this out in the lab. Just add a few gram of your cobalt salt to 30 mL if water and see how much dissolves. By the way, what is the addition of ammonia good for? Yurii V Geletii is also absolutely right in that for hydrothermal reactions you don't need to have all starting materials dissolved.
If you add ammonia solution to Co(II) salts you will end with cobalt hexaammine complex. Are you sure you need this complex for your purpose? It is rather strange why cobalt nitrate did not dissolve in such solution?!
Mohammad Kooti Frank T. Edelmann Yurii V Geletii I am thankful for your reply.
I am using NH4VO3, to dissolve it in DI water i have to use Ammonia water, ammonia water dissolves NH4VO3 but when I add Cobalt Nitrate or Cobalt sulfate or Cobalt Chloride in small quantity it is not dissolving. Can you recommend me any precursor for doping Cobalt.
