I need to purify many samples using Amicon Ultra centrifugal filter devices (Millipore Merck). Does anybody know if it is possible to clean and re-use them? Thanks in advance!
if the protein is same then yes, In our lab we use them but not more than 3 times as the membrane can get broken. after 1st use we wash them with water. Then wash with 100 % Ethanol. centrifuge with 100 % ethanol and re wash with 70 % ethanol. centrifuge with 70 % ethanol and finally wash with milli Q and centrifuge having milli Q inside filter.
yes yes I forgot to add about storage at 4 C. once in beginning I placed them in drying oven and membrane of all was broken and dried. so its important to keep them moist and cool after 1st use.

you can use for 3 times, if the protein is same. Special care you should be taken when cleaning.

I have Amicon® Ultra-15 Centrifugal Filter. Its volume up to 15 mL, I have 45 ml supernatant, I need to concentrate my protein in the media.
Although user guideline says it is "for single use" I wanna use them for several times for the same sample.
The filter is attached to the tube, there is no way to move it!. You can see the attached png file and see what I mean, I need your helps and recommendations on how to use it for multiple times? Best

Not recommended for different proteins. There will be chances of cross contamination. So I ll suggest dont do it.
As Ammara mentioned, yes We reuse the filters for the same protein. After each use, we wash Urea 2N, dist.
Water then 70% ethanol and dis.water
yes, you can. for multiple use (maybe more than 3 time as per my suggestions). We used more than three time. we use 0.5M NaOH solution take it overnight or long (but not more than two days on shaker with 60rpm (not fixed), wash with Milli Q water and then add 70% ethanol till next use.
