There is this case that I am working on and a women who is an alcoholic and has done drugs for many years had fallen and it caused her to have an acute subdural hematoma and I am trying to find Dr reports or news paper articles that are recent that this has happened to other women between the age of 40-45.
I don't think we can prove cause and effect, since this sort of accident / injury is not unusual among non-drinkers or moderate drinkers. I've heard of cases where alcoholics of that age and older fell down a flight of stairs while intoxicated, without significant injury. You might try contacting hospitals for their approximate statistics or for anonymous anecdotes. The number of such accidents is huge, and probably alcohol accounts for 15 to 30% of them. Of those, I'd estimate 60% were alcoholics. The presence of blood thinners and other meds could be causative factors with regard to injury severity or the fall itself, respectively.
