Hi everyone,

I am doing an enzyme assay using a 6'- thio-glucose bounded to a fluorescent substrate.

I have to make sure that the thio-glucose doesn't dimmerize with another substrate giving a disulfide which can't be modified by the enzyme?

So, if disulfide is there, can that enter the cell and can it exit during the washing step?
