Yes, Sir, I have those papers. I am not able to find any latest development regarding the application of DFE in large MIMO. And also complexity wise is it feasible to use in Large MIMO. Please suggest.
The complexity will of course be larger, so the main question is: can DFE brIng enough gains to outweigh the higher complexity? I am a bit skeptical, but one should also keep in mind that the processors are getting faster and faster so the computation complexity might not be an issue in the future (as long as it scales polynomially in the problem size and not exponentially).
In my opinion DFE equalizer is ineffective and has major drawback of noise amplification when there is a deep fade introduced by the channel. Given the performance of equalizer DFE can be replaced by MMSE equalizer...
