We are calling for contributions to an upcoming special issue hosted by the Information and Software Technology Journal.

Context-aware software systems are mainstream. However, though our research we have found little evidence on engineering methods for these type of contemporary software systems. Therefore, with this special issue, we intend to narrow that GAP.

Contributions should be empirically grounded and resulting from observations of mature technologies in industrial settings.
