So, I am looking for different ways to deal with the issue that some individuals haven´t produced feces (probably due to short period of collection) and we don´t want to eliminate those individuals from the analysis because we will loose valuable information.

I think we can´t assume that the have absorbed neither 100% or 0% of the ingested food.
