Hello everyone! I'm trying to calculate muscle fiber area of a sample but no with immunofixation, only H&E. I'm having a tough time trying to separate each muscle fibers using BZ-X analyzer. Has anyone done it in ImageJ who can explain me how to do it? Thank you! Have a great day!

Hi Santiago Callegari . You can use ImageJ to measure the area of muscle fibers from your H&E images. You will first need to segment these fibers. Since your images are probably RGB images, you may need to use color deconvolution or the color threshold to do this. Here's a video on how to do this: https://youtu.be/5rQl7ejuLSE
If you "Set Measurements" to include Area, and check "Limit to threshold", you can get the area of the segmented/thresholded muscle fibers.
