In my research I found relation between progesterone hormone and infection with Brucellea by immunohistochemistry assay. If any cause than hormone lead to infection of women placenta with Brucellea?
while isolation of Brucella from human placenta is very rare , the cause of abortion may be due to bacteremia or toxemia in women and/or fetus
Please consider the following points.
1. The organism (Brucella abortus in cow) stay at almost dormant inside some tissue space among the infected female animals and become highly activated when it get erythritol through the blood. Erythritol is secreted by placenta of cow. After activation, it multiply rapidly can ultimately cause abortion on cattle.
2. The organism then again go to the dormant stage and wait until next pregnancy. It is very difficult to cure ant infected cow from Brucellosis.
3. In male animals, it cause orchitis and remain a source of spreading the infection with semen.
3. In human, the infection of Brucella cause flu like symptoms (Fever with rise at afternoon, back pain, night sweats, headache etc.). The source of infection of eating and drinking of un- pasteurized dairy products and improperly cooked meat products; professional hazards etc.
4.Abortion among ladies directly due to Brucellosis is not well documented.
