Hello, does anyone have experience with Brilliant Violet 421 (BV421) secondary antibodies (I use anti-mouse or anti-Rat from Jackson) ? I find that bleaching is extremely fast and signal is poor.
I have no experience with BV421. However, with experience of blue Hoechst dye, when it was used at low concentration, the fluorescence was weak and disappear so fast after excitation. What the optical company suggested was to use of less broader filter block. Have a look at the link that may help solve the problem. http://www.omegafilters.com/xf403.html
