Boundary condition for the transient analysis of Herringbone-grooved journal bearing?

Hello everyone,

I want to perform the transient simulation of Herringbone-grooved journal bearing using Narrow Groove Theory. For that, I would like to know the boundary condition at the boundary between the dissimilar zones, namely grooved and smooth (land) region.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me.
