I am doing a transient simulation for blood flow inside patient-specific abdominal aorta aneurysm geometry. The geometry has severe proximal aneurysm angulation and it is also considered to be complex and tortuous.

When i calculated the Reynolds number, it ranges between laminar and turbulent flow. There are many studies used laminar. However, if i used turbulent for my study.

Can anyone give more reasons/evidence to support these case and arguments other than Reynolds number?

Thank you
