I am trying to find a transfer function of a block diagram. My problem came from having matrices on those blocks which lead to have different transfer function each time depending on the position of the matrices.
for example:
A*B*C will not be equal to A*C*B
Is there any rules for such analysis in block reduction?
Your question needs some more explanation. Better explain through an example.
For a SISO system you can get transfer function(TF) from state space representation using the command
[Num, Den] = ss2tf(A,B,C,D)
If you change any of the matrices A,B,C,D the resulting TF also changes.
Also Matrix multiplication is based on compatibility.
