Hi all,
I am looking for the best software package to make professional looking figures when using structural equation modelling. So far I have used Amos Graphics (v. 26), but in most papers and articles it seems like the authors or researchers use a different piece of software. Which software program can you recommend?
If you have written an article using SEM, you are also very welcome to share it, as I need inspiration on how to structure the article as well.

I typically create path diagrams in PowerPoint and then image them. I find that the diagrams in Mplus (my preferred software), while informative, is not flexible enough and does not necessarily handle different types of models (e.g. LCA models). Admittedly, it takes some time entering the data by hand.
I recommend Visual Understanding Environment (VUE), available for free download from https://vue.tufts.edu/ Very quick and easy to get neat SEM diagrams.
Depending the number of variables involved, I find Stata handy (figure wise) in addition to Mplus
