I believe "paired samples t-test" is enough to compare them.

It depends on how you measured the two forms of consumption. If one is binary (yes-no) and the other continuous, then I would also recommend a paired samples t-Test. If both are binary, then chi-sq, and if both are continuous, then correlation.
