What is the optimal concentration when lysing with Triton-X 100? Most publications use 0.5% or 1%. For my assay, I am detecting DNA from NETs with SYTOX green. I included wells at both concentration (0.5% and 1%). It appears that 0.5% Triton-X 100 had a more rapid lysis than 1%. Has anyone experienced this before?
