You should proceed then to CFA. You may consider analyzing the Scree plot to determine the total variance of data suited by total initial Eigen value against the number of components and analyze the unidimensionality of the indicators. Thereafter, develop the model through CFA and analyze the fitting indices. Only then can you assure that your model is fit.
