What is the best way (in a way that ansys runs each job sequentially without manual command) to solve several problems (say 1000+) with exact same geometry and other solution parameters but differing only in load location and magnitude.
That means we want to solve for let's say deflection at a fixed point due to load at node 1.Then we need another deflection on same point due to load at node 2, ...and so on. We want 1000 deflection values for 1000 cases (location of load in each case is different).
How to do this with minimal effort?

You got two options for doing this which are the following:
First of all you need to define the load and its location as parameters.
1. Form a design table (DOE) and define the parameters for your different scenarios and solve them. This option really requires minimal effort as you mentioned!!
2. The second option is scripting which enables you to manipulate the parameters and solving the scenarios and saving the results in tabulated format. For doing this, you can either use ANSYS ACT (All APIs are available through ANSYS help) or JAVA programming (Which is a little bit more difficult).

I had to do something similar. A table containing the design points is a good option. You can find it in the tool box on your left.
Another option is to do a parametric study, but it may not be possible to choose the position to apply the force as "loosely" as you want. But in this case, you can study the influence of the load along a dimension, for example.
All in all, I would stick with the design table as the better solution.
