Hi Everyone,
While running the simulation, I kept the file on ''Autosave'' so that each time step is saved (to avoid loss of data due to internet disruption since I am using VPN) but after 1-2 timesteps it says that ''insufficient virtual memory'' however I have 41 GB available in my flash drive and the .sim file itself shows 9 GB occupied.
I also tried to move the file on my computer's download folder (PC has 16 GB RAM) but still getting the same issue. My settings for Autosave are as below:
Max. Autosaved Files: 0 (also tried changing it to 5, 10) Autosave Batch Runs: Enabled Autosave after next step: Enabled Update>Enabled; Trigger: Timestep
How to fix this?
Are you sure that the virtual drive is running on your flash drive and not your computer RAM memory?
Paul E. Spector Thanks for the input. I discovered that the issue was with the RAM. It didn't support the simulation with mesh over 10 M cells and was utilized 100% so it was either stuck at a point or went slower.
