The minimum epicentral distance of earthquake to wells with a response to its impact was 70-90 km according to observations on Kamchatka.
This is a very complex question that can not be answered with a simple words. In our observation network of Chinese Mainland, the epicenter distance is not limited. It depends on many factors that related to well structures, geological settings, tectonic stress field and the frequency seismic waves, the magnitude of inducing event.
