I have performed uni-axial test to create fracture in sandstone core plug. The angle between the fracture is 10 degrees. What if the angle is more than 10 degrees ? Is there any method to support rock failure angle statement ?

I will look into it. The aim of my research is to predict internal fracture wit the help of grain geometry and main emphasis is on stress.
For the sandstones as well as other materials with well developed bedding or foliation planes in a scalle of core samples you shoul always take care in what angle is pressure that you apply to the angle of beding or foliation.
