I am not an MD, so I am not privy to what today's MDs (esp. oncologists) think about how effective OMICS profiling (transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, lipidomic, glycomic profiling, etc.) is in the early detection of cancer.  Perhaps it depends on the type of cancer? If so, which types?  If you're an MD, I would appreciate your opinion.
