I want to know how to implement Association Rule Mining in Cloud Environment? Does it only limited to outsource cloud space for storing intermediate data in mining process or anything more?
I dont know more about cloud compting, but I know about association rule. association rule is usually used to mine data association with each other, how many data combination appear together. in networking it is usually to detect association about user and their activity.
Cloud Computing and Association Rule Mining are tow separate disassociated entities. Cloud provide computing power, storage space or execution space as per the requirement quickly for the duration of requirement then the space can be reduced to nominal usage. Data Association Rule deals with combination and permutation of and can be defined as per the requirements. they do not have any direct relation with each other, however they may be correlated with each other for the efficiency of the operation.
I am not searching direct relation between these but implementation of association rule mining through cloud computing can allow to retrieve meaningful information from virtually integrated data warehouse that reduce the cost of infrastructure and storage. Cloud computing can provide efficient platform for storage and analysis of huge data.
You can perform Association rule mining on cloud usage data. It is actually Cloud usage Mining. It is used to improve the usage of cloud. This concept is similar to Web usage mining.
