Hello. I need to simulate an equilibrium reaction in ASPEN Plus but the equlibrium constant must be multiplied by a tunning factor. How can i do that?
Thanks
I can't think of a way to do that.
Are they giibs free energy based? Maybe you can change the pure component gibbs free energy in a prop-data?
All of the Hysys programs (Honeywell, KBC and Aspen) allow the user to enter an eight constant equation to override equilibrium calculations. I assume Aspen plus has the same functionality in its equilibrium or Gibbs reactor.
I believe you need to "Edit Reaction" and click on the equilibrium tab to adjust equilibrium equation: The attached snip might help
