OCP is an indicative measure of identifying the stability of passive film; A constant OCP indicates the stability; Does it indicate that the film formed is continuous? If the OCP is increasing with time, it means that the passive film density and thickness is increasing. Does it mean that the film is partially porous and as the thickness increases with increasing OCP, does it mean that the individual layers filling up one above the other on the film could be porous?
