In higher humid atmosphere like in my country India, which ac should i preferred split or wall for getting higher thermodynamic efficiency and better EER. Cost does not matter. For thermodynamic scenario which should be preferred?
Split is a bit expensive than window and is a little bit efficient but the window type offers you a choice of having some fresh air specially if you are using it in a closed room. To avoid carbon dioxide building up during a long night sleep it is recommended to have a trickle of fresh air.
In split ac indoor and outdoor unit may be far up to 5 meters or more which will require higher pumping power and some what effect ambient temperature on refrigerant temperature any how you insulate it.
One more reason in favor of window ac is that is provides slight fresh ventilation air which does not provided in case of split ac.
