Hi all,

I'm searching for ways to determine aromatase activity in a salmonid, without the use of radioisotopes

I found the kit below, but am hesitant as it's not based on fish, and I was not able to find publications where it has been used in fish. The supplier has told me that the specificity is 'eukaryotic', but I would need to validate the assay.

Is anyone aware of other kits or approaches that are straight forward for measuring the activity of the enzyme? Or has anyone had experience using these types of assays that claim broad specificity?
