The advancement in technology has placed course topic information literally at the finger tips of students in our classes. They even engage in a face-to-screen interaction to find answers to questions asked in F2F classes. The facilitator now spends less time developing students' understanding of course topics. Are we now shifting to more mentoring of students, using more scaffolding and collaborative activities than facilitation? The latter question was asked at a recent conference I attended and I would like for you to share yours.
