I going to import the ESRI world imageries(base map) to ArcMap or ENVI. Then, I digitize the imageries to get vectors. But I don't know any methods to realize it. Thanks.

It is very easy to add the 'ESRI World Imagery' base map in ArcMap and to start digitizing features. Just check the images which I've attached here. If you still need assistance, feel free to contact me.

It is very easy. Click on add data from standard toolbar, then select add base map. But you need internet connection.

comments done above are right for how to add ESRI base map to Arcmap but ENVI is a flexible software for image processing than GIS purposes.
