Hi, depending on the synthesis route chosen, nanoparticles will definitely have different characteristics like size, size distribution, metal distribution on support (if used), etc. Though I am quite unsure of whether we would be able to predict those changes beforehand. Infact, even using the same preparation technique, characteristics may change on changing or altering a few steps.
